Description
2 Princes Street in Thurso is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house featuring symmetrical facades on both the southeast (front) and rear. The building is constructed of rubble with painted tooled margins. It has a corniced central door on the southeast side, while the rear has a blocked central door facing Princes Street. There is one window on the ground floor and one on the first floor facing Olrig Street, and the rear has one blind ground floor window and one first floor window. The house features 12-pane glazing, end and ridge stacks, and is topped with a West Highland slate roof. A short length of coped rubble wall separates the front courtyard from Olrig Street.
