Description

1 Ankerville Street in Tain is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay house featuring a central door and a return bay facing Shandwick Street. The building is constructed from rubble with sneck harling and has tooled margins. The first-floor windows are smaller, with four-pane glazing, although a 12-pane window survives in the first-floor gable. The house has end stacks, a slate roof, and a stone ridge.
