Description

1 Shandwick Street in Tain is an earlier 19th century cottage that features a single storey and an attic above a raised basement, with a total of three bays. The exterior is constructed of coursed rubble with painted margins. The central entrance consists of a panelled double-leaf door, which is accessed by a flight of steps from the pavement. The cottage has two piended dormers that retain their original six-pane glazing, along with an end stack and a slate roof.
