Description

The White House, located at 5-7 Riverside Road in Thurso, is an earlier 18th century building that was restored around 1980. It features an irregular four-bay frontage on the southeast side, built into the slope of the land, with off-centre entrances at both the front and rear. The exterior is finished with dry dash render. A modern lean-to porch covers the front entrance, while the first floor has nearly symmetrical windows with multi-pane glazing throughout. The building has renewed end stacks and a roof made of Caithness slate. Additionally, there is a drystone wall along Wilson Lane.
