Description

Rowan Cottage in Cawdor is a pair of single-storey and attic cottages built in the later 19th century. The cottages feature a rubble construction with tooled rubble dressings. Each cottage has paired doors located in the inner bays and a gabletted wallhead dormer topped with a cast iron finial. The windows have 12-pane glazing, and the cottages are complemented by coped end and ridge stacks, all under a slate roof. There is a modern lean-to extension at the rear and a low rubble garden wall surrounding the property.
