Description

The Fishery Office is a two-storey building dating from the earlier to mid-19th century, situated within Lybster Harbour. It is a three-bay structure built of whitewashed rubble. The east-facing facade features a central door flanked to the left by longer ground-floor windows with lying-pane glazing. First-floor windows have four panes of glazing. A recessed area with a barometer is located to the left of the central door. The building has corniced end stacks and a slate roof. The statutory address is Lybster Harbour, Fishery Office.
