Description

William Mackintosh, 1898. Gothic. 2 storeys, asymmetrical 3

bay facade to street (west) with projecting square

crenellated porch to south elevation. Snecked rubble with

polished ashlar dressings. West elevation; square bay window

ground floor right with cusped balustrade; tripartite above

with relieving arch and gabled head. 2 storey canted window

in wide left gabled bay with crenellated parapet, stone gable

head finials; corbelled parapet; corner turret supported on

engaged column and corbelled over ground floor with conical

fishscale slate roof.

Some windows with cusped upper lights, all mullion and

transom; slate roof with decorative tile ridge. Low coped

rubble garden wall.
