Description
Dunballoch is a house dating from circa 1820. It is a single-story structure with an attic, and originally comprised three bays. The construction is of coursed rubble with polished ashlar margins and dressings. The central entrance is located within a recessed bay, fronted by a portico with paired ashlar columns arranged in a distyle in antis. The entrance doorway features six panels with reeded detailing, surmounted by a square-headed fanlight with intersecting glazing. Flanking the entrance are tripartite windows. Later additions include canted dormer windows in the outer bays, featuring multi-pane glazing. A broad eaves band runs along the roofline, complemented by panelled end stacks and a slate roof. A five-bay wing extends to the rear of the house, with an end stack.
