Description

This is a pair of mid-19th century, single-storey and attic cottages, situated at 25 Ferry Road, Beauly, and known as Hawthorn. Constructed of tooled red rubble with tooled ashlar dressings, the cottages are set within a terrace that also includes numbers 27 and 29 Ferry Road. The architectural style features paired entrances in the centre with double plank doors. The outer bays are topped with piended dormers. The windows are predominantly 12-pane sashes, and the roofs are slate-covered with coped end stacks.
