Description

The Commercial Hotel is an earlier 19th century, two-storey and attic house facing north. The front facade is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with harled rubble elsewhere, featuring contrasting painted margins. A central doorway is present, and there are two later gabled dormers. The windows have varied glazing patterns, and there are end stacks rising from the roof, which is slate-covered. A wing extends to the rear of the main building. A dwelling that originally adjoined the hotel at the south gable has since been demolished. The statutory address is Commercial Street, Beauly.
