Description
Flora Macdonald’s Cottage is a pair of early 19th-century single-storey and attic cottages, originally five bays wide, with doors located in the outer bays. The cottages are harled and feature 12-pane glazing, symmetrical ridge stacks, and a piended slate roof. Wings extend to the rear. It is possible that an earlier core existed, which may have been the residence of Flora Macdonald before her marriage. The cottage is situated behind the Flodigarry Hotel, which itself is not listed. The statutory address is Flodigarry Cottage (to rear of Flodigarry Hotel).
