Description

A pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century, situated in Kilmuir. They are single-storey structures with attics. Each cottage has three bays, with a central doorway. The cottages were constructed using coursed red sandstone, with dressings that have been broached and droved. They feature 12-pane sash windows. Each cottage has two piended dormers, also with 9-pane sash windows. Chimneys are located at the ends and ridge of the roofs, and the roofs are covered in slate. The statutory address includes Chisholm Cottage and The Neuk.
