Description
The Kessock Hotel, also known as the Eilean Dubh Inn, is a mid-19th century building that was significantly altered at a later date. The exterior is roughcast harled. A wide veranda runs the full length of the front elevation, supported by square wooden posts featuring latticed spandrels. There are five nine-pane sash windows on the ground floor, and three bipartites (windows divided vertically into two panes with a central mullion) above. The roof is hipped, constructed with heavy flags, and incorporates end stacks (chimneys).
