Description
Lusaka, located at 1 Allan Square in Cromarty, is an early 19th century building featuring two storeys and an attic. The exterior is dry-dashed with painted margins. It has a one-bay front facing Allan Square, which includes a doorpiece with fluted pilasters and a cornice. There is a later window inserted to the left of the door. The building has a canted one-bay corner front on Bank Street, with two bays. On the ground floor, the left window has been enlarged, and a new window has been added in the centre. The original roof features moulded architraves, while a modern dormer has been added to the front facing Allan Square. A chimney rises from the wallhead at the Allan Square front.
