Description

Sandstones is an early 19th-century building that has undergone significant alterations. It stands two storeys high with an attic and faces Allan Square. The front has three bays, which are now covered by a modern extension and porch, and the windows have been altered. The elevation facing Bank Street features two modern swept dormers and three bays on the left side of the ground floor, while the first floor retains its original 12-pane glazing pattern. The building is harled with painted margins and has a slate roof.
