Description

Allanbank House, located at 23 Bank Street in Cromarty, is an early 19th century building constructed of ashlar. The ground floor facing Bank Street has been harled, while the elevation towards Barkly Street is now pebble dashed. The house has two storeys and an attic. The front facing Bank Street features an altered ground floor with three windows and a door, along with two windows on the first floor and a canted corner. The front facing Barkly Street consists of two bays with an altered ground floor. There is a band course at the first floor level and a small swept dormer on the Bank Street side. The roof is slated.
