Description

This is an early 19th century, two-storey house. Originally it had three bays, but a single-storey, three-bay cottage was later added to the north gable. The cottage has since been converted into a shop, with larger windows installed. The entire building is harled (roughcast) with painted margins around the windows.

The main entrance is in the centre of the house, with two windows to the left. The windows have four panes of glass each. There are chimney stacks at each end of the house. The house has a slate roof, while the former shop has a corrugated iron roof.

The building is no longer a shop, although the shop sign "Milton Stores" remains above the shop entrance. The statutory address is "The Old Shop, Milton."
