Description

This is an early 19th century, two-storey house, originally with three bays. A single-storey, three-bay cottage was later built against the north gable, and has been converted into a shop with larger windows. The building is harled with painted margins. The centre doorway is flanked by two windows to the left. The windows have four panes of glazing. Chimneys are located at each end of the building, and the house has a slate roof while the former shop has a corrugated iron roof. The shop is no longer in use, but a sign reading "Milton Stores" remains above the shop door. The statutory address is The Old Shop, Milton.
