Description
Smithy House is an early 19th century, single-storey and attic cottage with three bays and an extension set back at the northern gable. The building is constructed of whitewashed rubble and features a central door, two piended dormers in the outer bays, and multi-pane glazing. There are end stacks with "thack stanes" and slate roofs. The studio extension has an entrance in the outer bay and three later closely set windows, also with multi-pane glazing.
