Wharehouse, Telford Street, Wick

This building is a warehouse located on Telford Street in Wick, dating from around 1830. It is a two-storey, nine-bay structure with a rectangular plan and a gabled roof, constructed from coursed Caithness stone slabs.

On the north (principal) elevation, there is a blocked segmental-arched pend entrance in the fourth bay. The ground floor features modern, large square windows, while the upper storey has regular fenestration, except for a blocked door in the second bay and a blind fourth bay.

The south (curing yard) elevation was not visible in 2001. The east (side) elevation is adjacent to a terrace of housing on Williamson Street. The west (side) elevation has a blind gable end.

The interior was not seen in 2001. The building has boarded windows, a roof covered with grey slates and lead flashing, coped stacks at the gable and roof ridge, and cast-iron rainwater goods.
