Description

42 Breadalbane Terrace in Wick is a two-storey, two-bay terrace house designed by Thomas Telford around 1840. The house has a rectangular plan and a gabled roof, with harled exterior and coursed Caithness slab-stone coursers. It features a base course and long and short projecting quoins. The front elevation has a door to the right and a small gabled dormer in the center. The windows are plate glass tilt-and-turn, and the roof is covered with grey slates, complemented by cast-iron rainwater goods. The interior was not seen in 2001. The fenestration is regular at the front but irregular at the rear.
