Description

The Pier and Store in Badcall is an early 19th century, two-storey fishing station featuring 11 bays and part double pile construction. The building is made of coursed rubble with tooled rubble dressings. Its north-facing facade is nearly symmetrical, with a window-door-window arrangement and an additional window on the west side. Internally, the structure is divided into fishing stores and dwellings, with the latter located at the east and served by ridge and end stacks. It has 4-pane glazing and slate roofs. The site includes a rubble retaining wall and a curved rubble jetty, as well as a vaulted ice house.
