Description

Scourie Farm, dating from around 1830, is a single-storey, seven-bay steading characterized by wide, advanced crowstepped outer bays. The building features harl pointed rubble with tooled rubble dressing. The west bay has a segmental-headed entrance with a loft door above, while the east bay has similar but blind openings. Between these bays are stables that include narrow rectangular vents at the wallhead. At the rear, there is a court with byres, and the steading is topped with slate roofs.

Additionally, there is a crowstepped mill located at the rear, also constructed of harl pointed rubble with tooled rubble dressings and a wheel gable, although it does not have a wheel. This mill features a loft door in the north gable and is similarly covered with a slate roof.
