Description

The monument to the 79th Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, located in Station Square, Inverness, was designed by George Wade and completed in 1891. It is made of Portland stone and features a statue of a Cameron Highlander in full dress uniform, standing in front of a miniature Sphinx. The statue is set on a pylon base.
