Description
Kilchoan Round Burial Ground is a circular enclosure defined by a dry stone wall. It contains a stone cross with a short, chamfered shaft, as well as a number of tombstones. The burial ground is heavily overgrown. Traditionally, it served as a burial site for both Roman Catholic and Protestant individuals. Further information is provided in Frederick Odo Blundell’s The Catholic Highlands of Scotland, volume ii, pages 68-9.
