Description
Nigg House is an early 19th century, two-storey and attic, three-bay house. It features a two-storey, three-bay piended wing added to the rear in the earlier to mid-19th century, along with further extensions to the north-east. The exterior is finished in pink harling with tool ashlar margins. The entrance has a centre corniced doorpiece with a panelled door and fanlight, flanked by tripartite windows on both the ground and first floors. The original piended dormers have 8-pane glazing, while the rest of the house features 12-pane glazing. The rear wing includes tripartite windows in the gable at both the ground and first floors. There is also a single-storey and attic L-plan extension to the north, which has corniced end stacks and a slate roof.
