Description
The Church of Scotland Parish Manse in Nigg dates from around 1758, with later additions. The building features harled walls with red ashlar margins, some of which are rendered. It is a two-storey, three-bay house with a central door, which is now obscured by a large projecting two-storey, two-bay wing with a piended roof. There is also a further two-storey, two-bay addition on the east gable, along with some single-storey extensions around the periphery. The windows have 12-pane glazing, and there are some blind windows present. The house has corniced end stacks with crowstep detailing and a slate roof.
The property is complemented by a harled rubble retaining wall and quadrants, along with a pair of square ashlar piers topped with pyramidal caps.
