Description

The Corrieyairack Pass Bridge, built by General Wade between 1731 and 1732, is a single span hump-back bridge constructed from rubble. It features a tooled rubble arch ring and a parapet cope. There is a small hole in the crown of the bridge, and the parapet is partially collapsed on the north side. The approach from the east is widely splayed, and the span of the bridge measures 22 feet. Additionally, there is rubble reinforcement to the river bank upstream of the bridge.
