Description

This is an early to mid-19th century lime kiln built into the side of a slope within the Cairngorms National Park. The kiln is constructed from random rubble, with a segmental headed drawhole set within a roughly tooled, segmental headed recess. A rubble parapet sits above the kiln bowl, now largely overgrown with grass.
