Invergarry Hotel

The Invergarry Hotel, now known as the Inn on the Garry, was built in 1885. It's a two-storey and attic building with an asymmetrical facade of six bays, plus a single-storey, single-bay addition to the west gable. The exterior is constructed from coursed grey rubble stone with red sandstone dressings.

The main section of the hotel is near-symmetrical with five bays, featuring projecting gabled outer bays and a gabled central bay housing the main entrance. The outer bays are connected by a verandah supported by two white-painted, fluted columns. A projecting bay is situated at the west end. The windows incorporate canted angles, tripartite and bipartite arrangements, with round-headed bipartites on the first floor above the entrance, displaying a dated monogram associated with the Ellice family, formerly of Glengarry Castle. The roof features two piended dormers, mainly two-pane glazing, some jerkin-headed gables, decorative wooden finials at the roof peaks, coped end and ridge stacks, and slate roofs with projecting eaves.

A steading range at the west side is not included in the listing.
