1 Old Ground Cottages, Invergarry

This is a late 19th century range of estate cottages. It is a single-story building with a symmetrical six-bay frontage. The doorways are located in bays two and five. The exterior is grey rubble stonework with tooled red sandstone dressings, and the window reveals are painted. The rear elevation is harled. Each doorway is sheltered by a gabled canopy supported by wooden columns. The windows have four panes per sash. A continuous outshot extends to the rear, slightly shorter than the rear elevation itself, with canopied entrances serving numbers one and four at either end. The roof is slate, with coped ridge and end stacks. The cottages have an unusual internal plan. The statutory address is 1, 2, 3, and 4 Old Ground Cottages, Invergarry.
