Description

Probably 16th century in origin. Remains of Campbell Colquhoun burial ground. Rubble, 3 sides of rectangular plan enclosure with squared dressings and weathered carving. chamfered arrises to openings and wallhead band with saddleback, apparently later coping. Carving includes frieze of diamond bands, moulded lintel to door, bowed over former flanking columns(?) (now missing); window flanked by bulbous, corbels supporting moulded lintel.

Internal walls with carved wallhead frieze; keel-head pedimented recess with quasi hoodmould and 2 heraldic shields, former gravestone(?) missing.

Simple iron railings enclosing burial ground.
