Campbell Colquhoun Burial Ground, Linkwood Crescent, Drumchapel, Glasgow

The Campbell Colquhoun Burial Ground, likely originating from the 16th century, is located on Linkwood Crescent in Drumchapel, Glasgow. It features a rubble structure that forms a rectangular enclosure on three sides, with squared dressings and weathered carvings. The openings have chamfered arrises, and there is a wallhead band with a saddleback, along with what appears to be later coping. The carvings include a frieze of diamond bands, a moulded lintel above a door that is bowed over former flanking columns, which are now missing. A window is flanked by bulbous corbels that support a moulded lintel.

Inside, the walls are adorned with a carved wallhead frieze, and there is a keel-head pedimented recess featuring a quasi hoodmould and two heraldic shields, although the former gravestone is missing. The burial ground is enclosed by simple iron railings.
