Description

Crawford and Veitch, 1905 (dated). 4-storey and attic corner tenement with renaissance ornament and decorative sculpture, square corner towerv with distinctive bell-shaped cupola of Scots renaissance type. Shops at ground. Stone-cleaned red ashlar above archtiraves/margins; 4 3-storey canted windows to Westmuir Street in roughly symmetrical arrangement and in bays reaching through eaves; shorter flank to Duke Street. Original plate glass sashes. Dormers; stacks. Good Art Nouveau close tiles to 1361 Duke Street.
