75, 77 Bothwell Street, Glasgow

75 and 77 Bothwell Street in Glasgow is a commercial building designed by Clarke and Bell around 1890. It features three bays with a canted angle facing Bothwell Street and four storeys plus an attic. This Renaissance-style building is constructed from red sandstone and occupies a narrow corner site.

The building has an elaborately carved doorpiece at the corner. Each floor from the ground to the third has a continuous cornice, with mullions extending to the third floor and cill courses on the first, second, and third floors. The cornice on the third floor also serves as a cill course for the attic.

On the West Campbell Street elevation, there is an elaborate shaped gable topped with a segmental crowning pediment, which has boldly detailed flanking stacks over a wide advanced centre. The dormers are bipartite and segmentally pedimented, breaking through a pierced balustrade. The building features a canted oriel bay on the first floor leading up to the dormer. The roof is covered with slate.
