Description
104 Argyle Street is a mid to later 19th century four-storey tenement. The building features a modern shop front on the ground and first floors, with painted ashlar stonework. The second floor consists of three bays, with rusticated pilasters on either side of a central window that has been altered. This window is flanked by segmental aedicules and paired Corinthian columns, with corbels above the first floor and blind balustrades. The third floor has four bays with keystoned windows that are flanked by paired pilasters, and a blind balustrade above the central windows. The building is topped with a consoled cornice and a timber parapet, and it includes casement and top hopper windows.
