Description
98 Argyle Street is a late 18th century, four-storey and attic, five-bay tenement. It was altered in 1827 by John Baird to create an entrance to the Argyll Arcade, located behind the building to the north. The exterior is rendered and features modern shop fronts and a pend entrance, with a semi-circular modern hood at the centre. There is a dentil cornice and a variety of glazing patterns on the sash and case windows. The roof is slate and has two swept dormers.
