Description

13 Turnberry Road in Glasgow is a boldly proportioned double villa built in 1874 by Hugh Barclay. The building is two stories high and features three bays for each house, with canted left bays. It is constructed of polished ashlar and has a plinth with central entrances that include an architraved doorpiece and tripartite anta pillars in antis. The ground floor has a cornice, and the central ground floor windows are supported by console cornices. The first floor features a bracketed cornice in the extreme outer bays. The villa has axial stacks and a slate roof.
