Queen's Park West Church, 170 Queen's Drive, Glasgow

Queen's Park West Church, located at 170 Queen's Drive in Glasgow, is a Gothic church designed by James Thomson and built between 1873 and 1875, with halls added in 1879. The church sits on a corner site and features a four-stage buttressed and pinnacled tower, topped by a slightly splay-footed octagonal stone spire that rises above the parapet. The front facing Queen's Drive has a gabled design, with a shallow central porch and a large traceried window above it. The tall side aisle facing Albert Drive is also buttressed and includes traceried openings.

Inside, the church has a galleried layout supported by two tiers of cast-iron columns, which hold up a barrel-vaulted roof. The hall that fronts Queen's Drive is asymmetrical, featuring two gables and pointed openings on two levels, along with a canted ground floor window on the right. The exterior is constructed of stugged and snecked ashlar with polished dressings and a slate roof, and there are iron railings along the street. A notable leaded window by Daniel Cottier is present, and the pulpit and reredos were added in 1947.
