Description

Robert Baldie, 1878-80, as UP church, and terminating view W along Bankhall Street.

Nave and gable-fronted aisles street elevation in stone-cleaned yellow ashlar, gallery level windows all with delicate tracery; gabled shallow porch central, flanking blind arcades; pinnacled slender buttresses; slate roofs. Good interior, with horseshoe gallery, lower seating in similar lay-out; 2 tiers cast-iron columns; original pulpit, with 2 stairs; organ by Abbot and Smith, Leeds, 1912.
