Description
52 Glencairn Drive is a symmetrical double villa built in the later 19th century. It stands two stories tall and features mullioned windows with round-headed lights on the first floor. The front of the villa has four wide bays, with two inner semi-circular bows that rise above the main eaves, topped with a shallow-pitched curved roof. The exterior is finished in stone-cleaned ashlar and includes plate glass sash windows, with a low porch on each side. The villa has end stacks, deep eaves, and slate roofs, with the main roof having a piended shape and tall finials.
The property is enclosed by a low boundary wall, which has battered square gatepiers also made of ashlar.
