Description
St Fillan's Cave and Well in Pittenweem is a natural underground formation that consists of two compartments and features a well. The entrance includes a doorway from the 17th century. On the west side, there is a 17th century stair built by the monks of the Priory, which leads to a vaulted cellar that opens into the Priory garden. The cave was restored, reconsecrated, and dedicated to St Fillan in 1935.
