Description

This is an early 19th century cottage, originally a two-window, centre-door structure. It is built of whin rubble with a pantile roof, and the window dressings have been replaced with brick. The door has been altered. The building is listed at group value only, meaning its significance lies in its contribution to a cohesive group of buildings rather than its individual architectural merit. This listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the cottage, as appropriate for a building of this type. The statutory address, as of the time of listing, was Cottage, now Stable (Lord Kilmany), Kilmany.
