Description

Kilmany Grange is a two-storey building constructed in 1810 for Dr. Chalmers. It features three windows and is made of whin rubble with uneven coursed stonework and droved dressings. There are margin and railed steps leading to the door. The building has a two-storey piended back wing and a small single-storey wing on the east side with a bipartite window. The original woodwork remains intact, although the chimneys have been replaced with brick. At the rear, there are two blocks of offices with quoin angles, one of which is roofless.
