Description
This is an 18th-century building on Main Street, Lower Largo, altered in the late 19th century and restored in the 1970s. It originally comprised a single-storey, long range, now partially occupied by No. 121. The exterior is largely harled, with some ashlar margins. Several original window openings remain, and a dormer window was inserted during the late 19th-century conversion of the building to a studio. The roof is pantiled, with a slate easing course. Two 18th-century chimneypieces survive within the building. The eastern three bays and a pend are now incorporated into No. 121. The building is known as No. 119 Gillies Studio.
