Description
Bower House, located at 90 Main Street, Lower Largo, dates to the early 18th century and has undergone alterations in later periods. The building is of one and a half storeys to the north, with two full storeys to the south, and exhibits an irregular four-bay facade. The exterior is harled and features painted margins. A 18th-century architrave frames the front door on the south elevation. Fenestration has been altered over time; the north front has a door on the west side and a single window on the east, with one first-floor window raised through the eaves. The north elevation has crowstepped gables with moulded skewputts, while the south elevation has straight gables. End stacks rise from the building, and the roof is pantiled.
