Description
Wellrose in Peat Inn dates from around 1860 and has 20th century additions. It was originally three cottages. The building is single-storey and constructed from whin rubble, featuring large stugged and droved ashlar dressings. Each cottage has a central door and two windows. The southern cottage remains unaltered except for a rear wing, while the middle cottage has a later wooden porch. The southern end, added in the 20th century, includes a transverse addition that projects at both the front and back. The original glazing is present at the center and north end of the building. The roof is pantiled and has three droved ashlar stacks, with the central stack being harled.
