Description

Drumhead, located in Peat Inn, dates back to 1745. This two-storey building is constructed from harl pointed boulder rubble, featuring ashlar dressings around the openings. The front has three windows with a central door that has a keyblock design. The door and the central window on the first floor are the only ones with margins. The ground floor windows were enlarged in the early 19th century but still retain their original glazing. The roof is pantiled and has crowstepped gables with skewputts, while the end stacks have been rebuilt in brick.
