Description

The steading, dated 1828, is a quadrangle, now with a slated roof and piend angles and formerly featuring a circular horsemill on its west side. It is constructed of whin rubble with sandstone dressings. The architecture is symmetrical, with a prominent north frontage featuring a range of six segmentally arched cartsheds. Original plans are held by the National Monuments Record.
