Description
7-9 South Street in St Andrews is a building that was remodeled around 1790. The eastern section (number 7) has a projecting front and is three stories high with four windows, one of which is blind. It is constructed from rubble with margins and features an architraved doorpiece adorned with a fluted frieze and cornice. There are skewputts, one of which bears an 18th-century date and shows signs of weathering. The western section (number 9) dates back to the 16th or 17th century and has been significantly altered. This section is also three stories tall and is harled with margins, featuring two piended dormer heads. The ground floor is vaulted.
