Description
13 Mitchell Street in Kirkcaldy is an early 19th-century pair of two-storey, three-bay terraced tenements. The buildings are harled with painted margins and stone cills.
On the south elevation, numbers 7 to 11 feature a paired doorway at the center with timber doors and plate glass fanlights, flanked by windows in the adjacent bays. The first floor has regular fenestration. Numbers 13 to 15 mirror this design.
The north elevation displays symmetrical fenestration, including a modern pitch-roofed stair tower that breaks the eaves at the center of each tenement. The windows have plate glass glazing in timber sash and case frames. The roofs are covered with modern red pantiles and have slate easing courses at the eaves. The coped harled stacks are topped with cans.
